Prior to her legal studies, Vanessa had a successful career as a broadcast journalist and reporter for both commercial and BBC Radio. She has also worked as a producer for the interactive channel, Bid TV, managing the editorial output and a team of fifteen. She is currently training at Silverman Sherliker, undertaking seats in the family, litigation, employment and commercial departments respectively.

Vanessa obtained a BA Hons in Philosophy and Politics from Bristol University before gaining her LLB from the London College of Law in 2007. She passed her Legal Practice Course with distinction.
