With a keen interest in both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law, Neil enjoys his role within the firm’s Intellectual Property Team, especially advising clients from the sports and media sectors on issues relating to I.P. protection and infringements.
After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2003, Neil went on to do his Legal Practice Course at the Nottingham Law School before moving on to work in the Corporate and Dispute Resolution departments at Freshfields for over a year. He trained at Silverman Sherliker and qualified in July 2008.
One thing you may be interested to know about Neil is that he is a keen footballer and organises the firm's regular five-aside matches.
