John Abbott
heads up the Litigation Unit and manages a varied and busy civil litigation
practice which deals with a wide range of commercial disputes including
contractual disputes, asset recovery, asset protection and property disputes. John has considerable experience dealing with
high value and complex contentious matters.
John graduated
in Law from Birmingham
University in 1982, and
was admitted as a solicitor in 1987 when he joined Shindler & Co. From there he moved to Finers and then joined
Silverman Sherliker LLP as a partner.
John has a
particular interest in property litigation, is a longstanding member of the Property Litigation Association, and
deals with all manner of property related disputes. He has also gained
considerable experience representing clients in mediations and in other forms
of alternative dispute resolution.
One thing you

a rugby coach.
