James specialises in commercial and civil litigation. He represents clients from a broad range of industries, including recruitment, clothing, advertising, law and I.T., on claims as diverse as breach of copyright, defamation, landlord and tenant, employment, identity fraud and debt collection. His main area of expertise is in breach of contract claims and he has advised both high net-worth individuals and various companies in this area.

James completed his degree in Latin American Studies with Spanish in the United States before doing a conversion course and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. He qualified in 2005 and joined Silverman Sherliker as an assistant solicitor in the Litigation Department.

One thing you may be interested to know about James is that he is an avid film enthusiast and can often be found haunting the BFI.
