James specialises in commercial and civil litigation. He represents clients from a broad range of industries both domestic and international, including recruitment, clothing, advertising, law and I.T., on matters as diverse as breach of copyright, partnership disputes, defamation, contentious employment, identity fraud and debt collection.

His main areas of expertise are in breach of contract claims and director and shareholder disputes.  He has advised both high net-worth individuals and various companies in these areas.

James completed his degree in Latin American Studies with Spanish in the United States before doing a conversion course and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. He qualified in 2005 and joined Silverman Sherliker as an assistant solicitor in the Litigation Department in 2008. 

James was promoted to the position of Partner in February 2011. 

One thing you may be interested to know about James is that he is an avid film enthusiast and can often be found haunting the BFI.
